Depends on which men.
"I thought aging was natural and acceptable Aging is ugly you might as well die"
Aging is ugly, but die? Nonsense. Now, if you're aging badly due to poor lifestyle choices (stop eating those ho-hos) and fail to cultivate a certain attitude to compensate for your lost youth? Yeah, we guys'll pass.
":I thought men enjoyed curves Men are turned off by less than slender"
Men do enjoy curves, but curvy != fat. For me, the dealbreaker is a woman's stomach – if it ain't flat, she's fat.
"I thought confidence was attractive Confidence in a woman is not required"
A baseline of confidence is necessary in women, not because men find it attractive but because the alternative (being a needy, clingy headcase) is even less attractive. But as a primary attribute? Nope.
"I thought racism had died out Racism is alive & well"
So long as there is race, there is racism.

I'll admit I'm sensitive on the aging point. I don't see any grace extended towards aging women at Roissy. There I see that a woman loses value quickly past the age of 25. She's a has been at 35 and might as well nail her own coffin by 50.
I've always maintained waaaaay prior to Roissy discovery that women should take care of themselves. I'm fortunate not to have lived a life of smoking, drinking or tanning. I'm also not afraid to invest in early interventions where required. What I don't want to do is feel I've lost any purpose for living just because I'm no longer hot stuff. (although I do have a flat tummy)

Your problem is not cognitive dissonance; your problem is that you read the drivel that is written by a very few angry, pathetic and maladjusted men.

Anonymous I've seen those men (angry, pathetic, maladjusted) but I've also seen intelligent, thoughtful, grounded men there too. There seems to be a common thread amongst them regardless of where they fit in the spectrum in regards to women. Some just say it nicer than others.

Anonymous I'm curious about you. You would have found Girl Game through some connection of Roissy's – are you a dissenter there? I'm not asking you to give yourself up and I won't try to guess who you are either. I'm just curious as to why a person who believes what you do about the commenters would continue to visit.
