The significant
responsibility of the Department of Lands are to render service delivery on
register transactions of rights and juristic acts at land office throughout 116 years of our service delivery under the policy
of the integrated holistic management which based on user requirements for
protecting the rights of private land as well as to secure public land for the
beneficiary.
In the year 2016
which is 116th Anniversary of Department of Lands,
the number of land office consists of Bangkok Metropolitan Land Office as well
as provincial land offices; branch land offices and sub branch land offices are
approximately 459
offices and 371
district land offices all over Thailand. The registration of rights and
juristic acts in each year are between
6-8 million cases. Department of Lands also
collects government revenues consisting of fee, stamp duty, income tax and
special business tax at the average of 70,000-97,000 million
Baht (2,200-2,800 million USD) per year with tendency of continuous
increasing.
